I most definitely recommend Grand Fiesta Americana in Oaxaca, the experience was fantastic. The service was beyond incredible, the hotel is beautifully designed with Oaxacan traditional touches, the room was modern and beautiful, fantastic bedding super comfortable, we loved everything about our stay. I really appreciated that when we arrived, the room was available to check in even though we were early. When our trip was over, the concierge called us a private driver who was there waiting when it was time to leave, and we relaxed in the lounge with a Starbucks drink until our airport transfer. The location was fabulous, near lots of restaurants and shopping. It's just the right location to relax after sightseeing, a quiet place to relax and get good sleep. I highly recommend and 10/10 would stay again.
This hotel is great and has excellent service and assistance from personnel. This hotel is great for both Business and leisure trips. Perfect for vacation as well. Rooms are very nice as well as main building and meetings rooms. Restaurant is nice although very noisy at times. Meals are very tasty and have traditional local cuisine... Really tasty.
The Grand Fiesta Americana is an overall nice hotel. It is on the luxury end similar to a Foue Seasons. The food from the restaurant was OK but the drinks were good. I was here for a business event for work. You are within walking distance for a few areas in Oaxaca and a relatively a short ride to other areas. Overall, this is a nice hotel and I would try sister properties in the future.
Great experience here. First, the shower report. Awesome! Lots of water pressure, spacious shower, hot water is immediate. Our bed very comfortable, good room service, spacious room. Absolutely no negatives for us!
A great base for a stay in Oaxaca City. The rooms are extremely comfortable, clean and nicely spacious. The staff were hospitable and spoke great English. The location is also strong - within walking distance of all the main city sights but peaceful at night. If you're looking for a hotel with character and an authentic slice of Oaxacan culture then this isn't the place for you - but if you want a solid, dependable option then I would highly recommend.
The hotel staff was nothing short of amazing! So warm, kind and smiling! Thank you for the amazing service! We had one night in the hotel's premium room (the only one that was available). The room, as you can see in the pictures, was amazingly organized, down to the smallest details! The breakfast was varied and very tasty!!!!! The location is perfect. Thanks again for all the little and big things.
I can't say enough about this lovely resort. Amazing lobby all decorated for day of dead. Ann is so helpful with everything from tours to finding pharmacy. And great location for parade.
A wonderful hotel with great staff. The location is right in front of a park and at night vendors set up. All we had to do is cross the street to grab some local eats and enjoy the evening with kids. Everything is within walking distance. It provided modern charm with old town history. Will definitely stay here again.
